The next committee meeting is Monday May 25th, 1998 at 7:00 P.M. at the Action Headquarters.

Welcome to Val Bird from the Steelworkers to the office.

Plan to attend the official opening of the Community Action headquarters on Wednesday night with Chris Whyman, Kingston's Town Crier reading a proclamation, and the Kataroqwi Native Friendship Centre performing a Sweet Grass ceremony to clense the building of evil spirits.

The official opening of the Kingston Community Day of Action headquarters and open house will be May 20th.

The phone lines are in, the signs are up, the furniture arrived today and the office will be staffed on Monday.
Next meeting of the committees - Tuesday May 12 at the Kingston Community Day of Action headquarters - 7:00 P.M.
MAY 4th

The office is taking shape and will open on time on May 11th.
The building signs will be up by this Friday.
Gloria Morris CUPE, Maurice Broadfoot OPSEU, and Barb Asbury CUPE are now on full time organizing.
The logo continues through its design stage and the march route has been established.
Next Meeting Tuesday May 5th, 7:00 P.M. at the Steelworkers Hall.
